is that marijuana? no, it is just burning trash

I live a block from my work. Unfortunately, that block is affectionately named "Garbage Alley". People who are too cheap to pay for trash pick up (anyone living in my neighborhood can afford it if they want to) just dump their trash on the side of the street and set it on fire. For some reason if it is burned, it is okay to leave it there. At least when it burns it doesn't smell too bad - pretty much like someone is smoking some weed nearby.


Some of the people who own the land on Garbage Alley are slightly annoyed about all the trash so they put up this sign & a fence. As you can see from the pictures, it has been very effective.
